International Students

As a program committed to the global pursuit of reinventing the public health paradigm, the NYU MPH welcomes applications from prospective students all over the world.

Coming from Nigeria, I found that the MPH program at NYU offers unparalleled opportunities for international students who want to broaden their academic and professional horizons."

Applying as an International Student

For instructions on how to apply to NYU’s MPH program, please visit our MPH Admissions page.

We strongly recommend that international students begin the process early to ensure that all supporting documentation from foreign institutions arrives in the admissions office by the appropriate deadlines.

Admitted international students must also complete the online Application for Certificate of Eligibility (AFCOE). The completed AFCOE along with financial support information should be submitted to the Office for Global Services (OGS), which will then process the appropriate documents for securing a visa. Specific instructions regarding the online AFCOE form and the visa process can be found here.
