Vasiliki Glekas is the Year 5 Graduate Assistant for New York City Treats Tobacco (NYCTT) and a Master of Public Health candidate with a concentration in Policy at the NYU School of Global Public Health. She earned her BA in Biology, with a minor in Psychology, from CUNY Hunter College.
With seven years of experience in the pharmacy field, Vasiliki has developed a strong passion for improving access to care and supporting treatment for substance use disorders. During her first year at NYU GPH, she volunteered with the Evidence to Global Impact Lab, where she was introduced to the work of the NYCTT team while conducting research on e-cigarette trends among undergraduate students. She is now proud to be a member of the NYCTT team.
