Shivani is the Program Manager at New York City Treats Tobacco. She focuses on partnering with medical and behavioral organizations to support the adoption and implementation of tobacco use treatment initiatives.


She is a Doctor of Public Health student at the NYU School of Global Public Health. She earned her Bachelor of Pharmacy and Masters of Business Administration before transitioning to public health in 2019. Shivani received her MPH from GPH and was inducted into the Delta Omega Honorary Society in Public Health in 2023. 

Shivani’s prior experience involves program management at a non-profit in India where she supported programs and fundraised to provide nutritional support to pediatric cancer patients across 28 cities in India. She has contributed to furthering the older adult equity and disparities research as a research assistant at the NYU Rory Meyers School of Nursing. Shivani’s public health interests include reducing disparities and improving access to care.
