Description
Cassi Niedziela, a GPH undergraduate student, completed an internship at the Ghana Coalition of NGOs in Health (GCNH), focusing on sexual and reproductive health rights, project proposal development, and newsletter content creation. In addition to gaining international workplace exposure, research opportunities, and networking experiences, Cassi conducted research on immunization rates in Ghana, particularly through the Community-Based Health Planning and Services Initiative (CHPS). Her research highlighted disparities in urban/rural and class divides and recommended increased resource allocation and information campaigns.
