Carly Malburg received her Master’s in Public Health Degree from New York University School of Global Public Health in January of 2022. She has also been a member of the ISEE Lab since 2019. Currently, she works at the Center for Disease Control and Prevention as a Global Health Fellow working in HIV surveillance and Maternal and Child Health and Mortality. Carly became a SGPHF mentor because she views her time during the ISEE pivotal to her experience at NYU and to her professional growth, so she wanted other members of the Lab to have a similar experience. She also understands how challenging graduate school can be when someone is juggling academics, research, and work experience. Having done it herself she knows it is tough but not impossible and wanted to have the opportunity to help others with their own juggling act to ensure they see success during their time at GPH.
