Sabrina Epou

Sabrina completed her Master of Public Health degree at New York University (NYU) with a concentration in global health where she also served as part of the Implementing Sustainable Evidence-based Interventions through Engagement (ISEE) Lab. She currently works as a program manager/analyst at the National Institute of Health (NIH) where she helps oversee a large NIH-funded training grant. She also supports the efforts of portfolio analyses and evaluation in order to make data-driven decisions in the administration of the institute’s programs. Prior to joining NIH, Sabrina worked at international global organizations such as UNICEF and at local state health departments. Sabrina currently serves as the Vice President for the District of Columbia Public Health Association (DCPHA). Sabrina believes she has benefited greatly from having mentors in her life that have played an essential role in her achievements and career trajectory, she is excited for the opportunity to pay it forward and take on a mentorship role herself.
