At NYU, public health is an academic priority founded upon a longstanding history of scholarship seeking to preserve and improve the health of all people. NYU's strength in public health draws from the robust collaboration taking place across its renowned schools and colleges, fostering a truly interdisciplinary approach to addressing our most pressing global health challenges.
The Certified in Public Health (CPH) credential demonstrates not only your knowledge of key public health sciences, but also your commitment to the field through continuing education focused on emerging and established public health issues. Students in the MPH program are eligible to sit for the CPH exam once they have completed or are currently enrolled in graduate-level core content required for the degree. We will be holding an information session in early Spring 2017 (date is TBA), and then we will be offering the test later in the semester. NYU students and alumni will be able to take the exam here at a discounted rate. To learn more about the CPH, you can visit their website at nbphe.org.
