Twenty-five New York University researchers, including Drs. David Abrams, Mark Jit, Raymond Niaura and Gbenga Ogedegbe, have been named to a list of the world’s most cited researchers—a recognition of scholars who have demonstrated significant and broad influence in their fields of research.
The Highly Cited Researchers 2024 list, compiled annually by Clarivate Analytics, identifies researchers who have published multiple papers that are frequently cited by others, putting them in the top 1% by citations in their fields over the past decade.
The NYU scientists and social scientists are part of a group that, according to Clarivate, “contributes disproportionately to extending the frontiers of knowledge and contributing to innovations that make the world healthier, more sustainable and drive societal impact.”
