Academics at the College of Global Public Health are distributed between several departments that encompass some of the leading disciplines in the field of public health.

Biostatistics (MPH)

Applies statistical reasoning and methods to the analysis of public health, health care, biomedical, clinical and population-based data.

Bioethics (MA)

Combines the study of medical and environmental ethics on topics ranging from the use of embryonic stem cells and cloning to species preservation and biodiversity loss.

Epidemiology (MPH and PhD)

Analyzes the distribution, determinants, and control of human disease.

Global Health (MPH)

The Department of Global Health emphasizes developing leadership skills in planning, managing, and leading innovative public health programs.  It is comprised of 14 full and part-time faculty who are internationally recognized for their innovation in research, scholarship, and teaching in various global health related disciplines. The department also collaborates with international colleagues in multiple countries in Africa, Asia, Latin America, and Central Europe.

Focuses on promoting health and reducing the risk of chronic diseases and obesity through educational and environmental approaches.
