This symposium brought together key stakeholders, researchers, health system leaders, and community organizations for a robust discussion about the current evidence for primary and secondary prevention of violence in New York City, with a specific focus on hospital-based violence intervention programs.
The discussions highlighted barriers and facilitators to implementing and scaling these programs, and potential strategies for optimizing impact.
