Cultivate Leadership

Cultivate a diverse pipeline of leaders in implementation science and practice through bi-directional learning programs that engage a global community.

  • We lead a webinar series to highlight state-of-the-art implementation science topics and methods, with guest speakers from the global community of implementation science experts. See videos HERE.
  • GCIS holds an annual policy-focused implementation science training, to build a pipeline of investigators within and beyond NYU with expertise in policy dissemination and implementation and enhance policy D&I expertise among GPH students. Details on the training can be found HERE.
  • GCIS supports global implementation science training programs including the ARC and Addressing the Research Capacity Gap in Global Child, Adolescent & Family Health Disparities Utilizing Implementation and Data Sciences among Vulnerable Populations in Resource-limited Settings (ACHIEVE)
  • With HealthRight International, we co-organize a summer global implementation science research internship for NYU GPH students.

Through the Global Implementation Science Training (GIST), we provide an opportunity for NYU doctoral students and post-doctoral fellows to receive intensive training on implementation science research. Information about GIST and how to apply for the 2024-2025 training can be found HERE.
