Recording Videos

There are many ways you can record videos for your courses, from simpler recordings you can do in your office to more high end recordings you can do in our studio. Below we outline some options and resources to get you started. As always, feel free to reach out to our team if you have any questions.

Please note NYU Policy on Faculty Recordings.

Recording Using NYU Stream/Kaltura

Kaltura Capture is the NYU supported screen recording tool. You can use this tool to record yourself on camera, anything on your computer screen, your voice, or a combination of all three. Everyone at NYU has access to Kaltura Capture.

Please follow these instructions.

Recording Using Zoom with Post Production from our Team

If  would like our team to help with post-production of a video you plan on recording on your own using Zoom (cleaning images up, overlaying PPT's with talking head etc), please submit the following form to request post-production services and once you have consulted with our team follow these steps.

These settings are recommended as Zoom allows one to record separate channels at the same time which makes most production of recordings much easier.

Recording Using GPH's Recording Studio

If you would like to use our studio to make recordings you will need to initially schedule a consultation so we better understand the nature of your request. Please fill out the following form and someone from our team will get back to you.
