NYU will host Margaret Riley, a professor of biology at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, for “If Darwin Were a Microbiologist: Evolution-Based Solutions to Antibiotic Resistance,” its annual Darwin Lecture. Riley, the founder and former president of the Massachusetts Academy of Sciences, studies the evolution of microbes and other genomic phenomena, with a particular focus on the origin and evolution of antibiotic resistance.
Registration for in-person attendance for NYU community members is not required at this time. Non-NYU attendees/visitors are not invited at this time to attend in person as this requires pre-approval. Instead please join us remotely on Zoom.
