As part of its At A Crossroads? program series, the NYU GPH Office of Undergraduate Programs invites you to join Charlie Ferrusi, MPH, in a conversation exploring the intersection of Public Health, Political Organization, and Social Justice.

About the Speaker
Charlie Ferrusi is a public health professional, political organizer, and social justice activist based in Brooklyn, NY. He currently works at Mount Sinai Institute for Advanced Medicine as a Program Manager, managing the Enhanced Data-to-Care and Voices in Partnership programs. Charlie received his BS in Health Education from SUNY Brockport and his MPH in Community Health from New York University. He is currently pursuing an Advanced Certificate in Nutrition at Stony Brook School of Medicine. Charlie is a founding Board Member of OutHudson, a volunteer-led LGBTQ non-profit organization in Columbia County, NY. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Upper Hudson Planned Parenthood. Charlie has worked on various local and statewide progressive political campaigns and has implemented large-scale public health initiatives throughout the Hudson Valley and New York City. In his spare time, he operates an eco-friendly candle business, Essentially Charlie.

The At A Crossroads? series was created for students curious about creating innovative careers that merge Public Health and other interests. Each event explores the breadth of the Public Health field and how it intersects across various industries such as medicine, art, technology and more through engaging conversations with leaders of today.
