2022 NYU All-University Commencement

NYU congratulates the Class of 2022! On May 18, 2022, violet banners will again fly high over Yankee Stadium as New York University convenes the All-University Commencement Exercises for the Class of 2022. Honorary Degree Recipients for the Class of 2022:

• Taylor Swift: Singer, songwriter, producer, and director Taylor Swift will receive a Doctor of Fine Arts, honoris causa, at the Commencement for the Class of 2022 and will deliver remarks on behalf of the honorary degree recipients.
• Susan Hockfield: Susan Hockfield, President Emerita and Professor of Neuroscience at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, will receive a Doctor of Science, honoris causa.
• Félix V. Matos Rodríguez: Félix V. Matos Rodríguez, Chancellor of the City University of New York, will receive a Doctor of Humane Letters, honoris causa.
