Hosted by the GPH Pipelines into Quantitative Aging Research (PQAR) Summer Program
For six weeks during the summer, the Department of Biostatistics at the NYU School of Global Public Health hosts the PQAR Summer Program. The department invites 12 underrepresented undergraduate students to participate in quantitative Public Health coursework, guided research and professional development sessions. This NIH funded program has been created to address the critical need to innovate and diversify the field of aging.
Using the skills they learn during the summer, PQAR students work with NYU faculty to conduct research on the aging process and aging-related diseases/disorders. The PQAR Summer Program will be hosting an another information session on Monday, December 12 at 8:30 pm EDT. We encourage you to register for one of our information sessions to learn more!
