The NIH's “All of Us” is a program that has gathered data on millions of Americans and has given wide access to researchers to answer some of the most pressing questions of our time. Th data is collected through multiple forums including electronic medical records, biological specimen collections, and surveys.
Dr. Stephanie Cook will conduct a welcome session to introduce graduate level NYU students to the “All of Us” dataset and share more information about the initiative. At the welcome event, Dr. Cook will provide information on how to submit an application for student who are interested in participating in the “All of Us” training program.
Important Note: For interested students, there will be two additional 2-hour training sessions on the “All of Us” program. After the training sessions, 4 to 6 students will be selected to work with “All of Us projects. Selected students can earn Practicum credits. Paid opportunities are a possibility, but not guaranteed.
The welcome session is open to everyone, but the additional training sessions and the opportunity to work with Dr. Cook are limited to graduate students.
