Hosted by the Department of Global and Environmental Health

You are invited to the second of a Career Seminar Series, hosted by the Department of Global and Environmental Health. Each month for the remainder of the Spring 2025 semester, GEH will host a speaker, or panel of speakers, from a variety of organizations across the field. They will talk about their current work, their own career journey, and discuss opportunities for current students and recent MPH graduates.

Dan Kass is the Senior Vice President for Environmental, Climate, and Urban Health at Vital Strategies, a global public health organization that works with governments to address the leading risk factors for preventable disease and death. In this talk he will discuss the mission of Vital Strategies, and its initiatives in environmental and urban health that Vital is involved in around the world. He will also discuss approaches to engaging with local and national stakeholders to build capacity and public support for policy solutions, as well as evidence that underlies their work in the field in low and middle income countries.
