Hawa is an accomplished Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn, Child, and Adolescent Health (RMNCAH) professional. With over 12 years of experience in program planning, quality improvement, and implementation, Hawa has collaborated with governmental and non-governmental organizations to expand RMNCAH interventions to improve the health outcomes for women and children. More About the Presenter:
Hawa Abdillahi is dedicated to improving RMNCAH services at the national to the grassroots level for underserved communities. Hawa is currently pursuing a master’s degree after completing a bachelor’s degree in health systems management, and she holds numerous certificates in RMNCAH short courses. She has a proven track record of coordinating training activities, establishing quality improvement measures, and providing technical leadership to strengthen RMNCAH service delivery. Hawa has collaborated with government agencies, non-governmental organizations, and other stakeholders to expand successful RMNCAH interventions and improve the health outcomes for women and children. She has also contributed to global learning through the implementation of innovations to existing programs, such as mobile health technology and task sharing. Some of the grants that she has previously managed include USAID, FCDO, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, and the Pfizer foundation. In her free time, Hawa enjoys traveling, cooking, and spending time with her family.
