Hosted by the International Association of Emergency Manager (IAEM) of NYU GPH
Join us for an engaging conversation with two distinguished leaders in global public health! Stewart Simonson, founding head of the U.S. Administration for Strategic Preparedness and Response (ASPR) and former World Health Organization representative to the United Nations and Dr. Isaac Weisfuse, a seasoned medical epidemiologist and former Deputy Commissioner of Health for New York City, bring decades of experience in global health governance, emergency preparedness, and crisis response.
Having led responses ranging from the 9/11 anthrax attacks to managing the H1N1 pandemic, these experts have been at the forefront of some of the most critical public health challenges of our time. Together, they will share insights and lessons on leadership, cross-sector collaboration, and navigating public health crises—from global coordination to national response.
Attend the event and be entered into our raffle to win a FREE IAEM-USA membership along with more prizes and pizza!
