The World Health Organization has just declared Monkeypox a global public health emergency. According to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, nearly 17,000 cases in 74 nations have been identified. While in the U.S. approximately 3,000 have been cases reported, the virus is spreading and remains a mystery to many, including health officials.
