Join the Office of Public Health Practice for an Applied Practice Experience (APE) Information Session. The APE is a required, essential, integral component of the degree requirements for all MPH concentrations and MS Epidemiology students. Students will experience the translation of theory into real-world applications first-hand.
If you are not sure where to start or have questions about APE, attend an info session! We will review general APE guidelines, where to find your APE, and provide tips and tricks for fulfilling this requirement.
- MS EPI students are required to complete an Applied Research Experience (ARE).
- MPA/MPH dual-degree students are not required to complete an APE.
- MS Biostatistics students are also not required to complete an APE, but can if they choose.
- MA in Bioethics are not required to complete an APE.
If you have any questions, please email gph.practice@nyu.edu.
These sessions are open to first and second year students. We are excited to see you there!
