This information session is intended for undergraduate students in CAS, Gallatin, GLS, and Steinhardt interested in GPH's 4+1 programs.
The NYU School of Global Public Health offers current NYU undergraduate students the opportunity to earn both a bachelor's and a master's degree in only five years through our accelerated 4+1 programs. Benefits of the 4+1 program include:
- Finish early. Students start taking graduate-level courses during their junior year, saving a full year.
- Save on tuition. By taking rigorous graduate courses during junior and senior years, students only pay tuition for one year of graduate school (Year 5/MPH Year); students also automatically earn a scholarship in Year 5.
- Engage in research and practice. In Year 5, students enhance their research skills and connect with organizations domestically and globally to gain real-world public health experience.
- Expand your professional network. Students work with our faculty experts and graduate students to grow their public health network and gain career insights.
- Jump start your career in public health. The 4+1 programs allow our graduates to get an early start on their public health careers, whether this be in research, public health practice, or policy.
This event is open to the NYU Community (current students, faculty, and staff).
