Please join us on Wednesday, April 22 for the Department of Global & Environmental Health's Annual Earth Day Event. You will have the opportunity to hear from this year’s William N. Rom Climate Change and Health Fellows, Yoko Nogami and Ayesha Naeem. After attending the 2025 International Conference on Urban Health in Wellington, New Zealand, the Fellows worked on independent projects with the guidance and mentorship of GEH Faculty members, Drs. Alexis Merdjanoff, Prince Amegbor, and Abrania Marrero.
The William N. Rom Climate Change and Health Fellows address these public health issues with projects on climate and health with a faculty mentor. The Fellows' projects range from urban health, small island states, and environmental justice to drought and storm-induced famine, and public health response. Join us on April 22 to support our Fellows as they present their Fellowship Presentations to the Department of Global and Environmental Health and wider GPH community.
