A high-level convening to elevate menopause as a global health and economic priority on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly.
Scientific understanding and public awareness of menopause are growing, but policy commitment, provider training, and sustained investment have not yet caught up. Menopause is a universal experience for every woman who lives long enough to reach it; we must convert increased awareness into global action.
By invitation only, menopause advocates—health ministers, elected officials, UN and multilateral representatives, philanthropic funders, private sector partners, civil society, and media—will convene to help close the gap between existing evidence and the policy, training and systems needed to put it into practice. Together, we will spotlight the array of policy action happening at local and national levels around the world, and build political momentum to accelerate menopause research, policy and care.
