  4. Analyze and assess policies aimed at increasing access and reducing barriers to food security and improved national health status in diverse population groups
  5. Apply evidence-based research findings to the development and implementation of nutrition polices, programs, and interventions in the United States and globally

Professional Development

You will benefit from countless opportunities to build skills and experience to prepare you for successful careers in public health nutrition. There are many professional development opportunities available to you at NYU GPH, including internships, fellowships, employment, volunteer opportunities, professional association membership, and more.

My NYU MPH experience has been invaluable to my personal and professional growth. The high caliber of professors and students from around the world not only provided unique global perspectives to public health challenges, but also motivated me to step outside of my comfort zone and develop new skills. Being able to apply the concepts I learned in class to my internship the very next day was especially rewarding. I can sincerely say that this is one of the best decisions I’ve ever made!
