DrPH Student, Hamad AlRashed will present his Advanced Applied Practice Experience (AAPE), "Life with Wildfire Smoke" conducted at the Association of States and Territorial Health Officials (ASTHO). The project involved a comprehensive evaluation of public health information concerning wildfire impacts and focused on identifying a need for enhanced resources related to wildfire smoke. The project is centered on analyzing the effectiveness of current public health materials on wildfire smoke and formulating evidence-based recommendations to improve public health preparedness and response. These recommendations were based on a combination of recent scientific research and public health recommendations analyses.
