Vaccine Epidemiology and Economics Lab (VEE-lab)

Faculty Facilitators: Dr. Mark Jit

Vaccines are one of humanity's greatest achievements; they save a life every six minutes (Shattock et al. The Lancet.)

In a world shaped by rapid innovation, limited resources and complex health challenges, good evidence is essential to guide how vaccines are developed, used and prioritized.

At the Vaccine Epidemiology and Economics Lab (VEE-lab), we use mathematical, statistical and economic models to understand the global impact and value of vaccines. Our work helps inform policy decisions by countries and organizations such as WHO and the Gates Foundation.

We welcome students at all career stages who have strong quantitative skills and a passion for improving global health, to apply to join our lab.
