Please join us for a CDUHR AIDS Seminar titled Reducing HIV Risk and Developing Communities through Authentic Approaches o Community-Engaged Research: Successes Challenges, and Next Steps featuring Scott D. Rhodes, PhD, MPH, FAAHB of Wake Forest School of Medicine.

Scott D. Rhodes, PhD, MPH, FAAHB, is professor and chair of the Department of Social Science and Health Policy, Wake Forest School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, NC. He also directs the Program in Community Engagement within the Wake Forest Clinical and Translational Science Institute.

Dr. Rhodes has published more than 180 articles and 30 book chapters on the health of vulnerable populations, including immigrants, Latinos, and sexual and gender minorities. He edited a book titled "Innovations in HIV Prevention Research and Practice through Community Engagement" (Springer, 2014) and co-edited a book titled "New and Emerging Issues in Latinx Health" (Springer, 2019).
