Students who are part of the School of Global Public Health participate in a broader public health community at NYU, studying and working alongside other undergraduate students, graduate students, faculty, practitioners, and alumni engaged in public health activities. Global Public Health students receive a wide variety of opportunities and experiences from an interdisciplinary education to extensive opportunities for applied fieldwork in the U.S. and in countries around the world.

Study Abroad
The GPH major program requires one Fall or Spring semester abroad at one of NYU’s global sites.
Experiential Learning
Completing their experiential learning requirement, students engage in hands-on, field-based activities to enhance their public health practice.

From webinars to volunteer opportunities, NYU GPH offers a wide variety of events to learn more about current news and issues in public health.
Clubs and Labs
GPH clubs and labs at NYU provide students the opportunity to explore and engage in the different aspects of public health and take their learning outside of the classroom.
