Global threats such as infectious disease and climate change demand leaders who can generate both scientific and societal solutions. If you’re a motivated undergraduate student looking to fast-track your graduate degree in public health, our accelerated 4+1 programs offer a way to earn both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in only five years, saving both time and tuition.
Students admitted to the program take undergraduate classes for their first three years. As seniors, they combine bachelor- and master-level courses and graduate with a bachelor’s degree. In the fifth year, they focus solely on graduate courses to complete their MPH.
GPH’s 4+1 program is also ideal for students seeking additional preparation before applying to one of our doctoral programs in public health, as well as for those pursuing other career tracks (such as teaching) in which a master’s degree is valuable.
