Our Master of Public Health (MPH) in Global Health, housed within the Department of Global and Environmental Health, provides students with the expertise to lead in a world defined by rapid environmental, technological, and demographic change. Unlike traditional, static, knowledge-based public health degrees, our program offers a competency-based curriculum that emphasizes agility, adaptability, critical thinking, and applied skills that will remain relevant as the world changes.

As a result, our MPH in Global Health students are equipped to thrive across different sectors, including government, non-profit or private sectors, academia and beyond.

Through our core curriculum, paired with flexible elective offerings, you’ll learn a wide range of transferable skills that you can apply globally, domestically and locally, while gaining hands-on experience that goes far beyond the classroom. These include: critically interpreting global events and trends; analyzing complex, dynamic systems; leveraging data to inform interventions and policies to improve health outcomes; communicating through numbers, stories, and visual media; and engaging across cultures and disciplines.
