The foundation of the MA in Bioethics degree is the NYU Center for Bioethics, launched in September 2007 with a Chair endowed by Dr. Arthur Zitrin, who for over 40 years was a prime mover in ethics education at the NYU Medical Center.

Specialized Program Tracks
Students choose between two concentrations: Epidemiology and Global Health. Each one consists of 46 credits of coursework and lays a solid foundation for any public health professional.
