Description
The Cross-Continental Master of Public Health (C-C MPH) program at NYU College of Global Public Health offered a unique opportunity for aspiring public health professionals. Over the course of one year and across three continents, students delved into global health issues, transcending traditional boundaries. With program tracks from Global Epidemiology to Social Epidemiology and a range of elective options, participants gained hands-on experience through practicums at international sites. Mentors provided individualized guidance for thesis projects, while cultural immersion enhanced understanding of diverse populations. This program equipped graduates with the skills and networks needed to tackle complex public health challenges on a global scale. For the 2017-2018 school year, participants traveled to Washington D.C., Florence, Italy, and Accra, Ghana.
