The U.S. presidential election is occurring alongside a highly uncertain global public health landscape. Challenges include: post-Covid fatigue, financing shortfalls alongside rising debt burdens, shifting priorities, increasing politicization of public health, and a global governance system under intense geopolitical strain. This meeting will explore the nature of these challenges and the role of the U.S. in addressing them under a Harris or Trump administration.
