Danielle Butin shares how she unearthed her hope on the plains of the Serengeti and launched the Afya Foundation to change her life and the lives of millions. Through captivating stories and practical insights, Danielle will show how embracing "wild hope" can push the boundaries of what's possible in our own lives.
The Afya Foundation ships unused medical supplies—like sutures, bandages, assorted surgical instruments and more—to people who need them the most, worldwide, filling a major gap in the global medical supply chain and responding to urgent humanitarian needs. Since 2008, Afya has sent $49.5 million worth of lifesaving medical and humanitarian supplies worldwide to underserved communities, helping millions access healthcare and saving an untold number of lives.
