Frontline perspectives on the welfare of New York City’s older community residents during the COVID-19 pandemic: Insights from aging services providers

Presented by the NYU Aging Incubator

The NYU Aging Incubator invites you to join a webinar on the impact of COVID-19 on the health and well-being of older community residents and the issues providers of community-based aging services are addressing.  The COVID-19 pandemic has forced the widespread closure of senior centers, curtailing social activities, restricting access to congregate meals, and limiting delivery of supportive services.  The social isolation resulting from social distancing has further compounded older adults’ distress and anxiety regarding the life-threatening risk of the Coronavirus.
