This summer the Biostatistics Department at the NYU School of Global Public Health launched the Pipelines into Quantitative Aging Research summer program. This NIA grant-funded program invites 12 students from across the nation to participate in small group research under the mentorship of NYU faculty for six weeks during the summer. This summer, given the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, the PQAR summer program was done completely online. The inaugural symposium will highlight the work and research PQAR students have done for the past six weeks. The symposium will feature Dr. Eric Tchetgen Tchetgen, from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, as the keynote speaker. He who will provide a lecture on "A Vignette of Causal Challenges and Opportunities in Aging Research".
