Hosted by the GPH Global & Environmental Public Health Program
Climate Change has become one of public health's greatest challenges: deaths arise from extreme weather events, drought affects food security, heat and heat waves, forest fires, and air pollution from fossil fuels, while sea level rise affects coastal populations. The William N. Rom Climate Fellows address these public health issues with projects on climate and health with a faculty mentor. Climate Fellow's projects range from urban health, small island states, and environmental justice to drought and storm-induced famine and public health response.
Join us on April 20th to support our Fellows as they present their WNR Climate Fellowship Presentations to the Global & Environmental Public Health Program and wider GPH community. WNR Climate Fellows: Ashlynn McCool, Emily Zambiazzi, Indeep Janda, Khadija Kamara, and Mackenzie Stoeltje.
This event is now scheduled to be held virtually on Zoom.
