Advancing Equity within the Health in All Policies Framework in Saudi Arabia

Join us for a Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) Advanced Applied Practice Experience (AAPE) Presentation. Students pursuing the DrPH must successfully complete both an AAPE as well as a Dissertation. The AAPE requires the student to lead a project of significance for an organization in advancing the public's health.

DrPH student Sara AlMunif will present her AAPE conducted at The Health in All Policies Initiative in Saudi Arabia. Working with The Ministerial Committee for Health in All Policies, her project focused on developing recommendations to include an equity focus within the government's Health in All Policies framework. The project addresses critical issues such as social determinants of health and existing disparities. The presentation will include insights into the current challenges and opportunities for promoting health equity within the country, international best practices, and recommendations for the integration of equity considerations into the policymaking process across government agencies.
