Hosted by the Health x Housing Lab at the NYU Grossman School of Medicine
Join us to hear about two interventions that utilized peer partnerships to deliver health care to people experiencing homelessness.
Chelsea L. Shover, PhD and Anthony Coleman will discuss the implementation of a same-day peer ambassador program for COVID-19 vaccination efforts in unsheltered settings in Los Angeles. They will discuss the preliminary efficacy evaluation, field safety, empowering peer ambassadors, and the community-partnered research approach.
Hannah Carver, PhD and Josh Dumbrell will discuss findings from a peer-delivered, harm reduction intervention for people experiencing homelessness with problem substance use in Scotland and England. They will describe the feasibility, acceptability and accessibility of the intervention for Peer Navigators, service staff, and intervention participants.
This seminar will be moderated by Giselle Routhier, PhD, Research Assistant Professor and Co-Director of the Health x Housing Lab in the Department of Population Health at NYU Grossman School of Medicine.
You will receive a confirmation email with a downloadable calendar invitation upon registration.
