Reconstructing the Resilience Narrative: Reflections from Ukraine

Halyna Skipalska, Country Director of HealthRight Ukraine and Director of the Ukrainian Foundation for Public Health, will share her experiences on the ground after Russia’s invasion, as an international NGO moved to provide essential health services and humanitarian aid to thousands of affected Ukrainians. Skipalska will be joined by Peter Navario, CEO of HealthRight International and Clinical Associate Professor of Public Health Policy and Management at NYU GPH.

They’ll discuss how HealthRight is working to build local capacity, support livelihoods, and empower women, children, and internally-displaced Ukrainians, while highlighting inspiring stories of resilience from people impacted by HealthRight’s work.
