Hosted by the Center for Advancement and Dissemination of Intervention Optimization (CADIO)

Dr. Liz Lockhart from Henry Ford Health System will present her work on implementing Preexposure prophylaxis (PrEP) in primary care through a multi-level, cluster- randomized trial called MOST: PrEP. PrEP has been a well-established, effective medication for HIV prevention for over 12 years. However, low numbers of patients are taking PrEP and few primary care doctors are prescribing it. Dr. Lockhart's study is developing and implementing 4 intervention components among 32 primary care clinics in a large health system aimed at increasing PrEP prescriptions. In this talk, she will discuss development and implementation of multi-level components for both patients and providers and factors considered for cluster randomization.
