Summer 2021

We currently do not have any scheduled events for the remainder of the Fall semester. We will return with events in the Spring of 2022.

  • PQAR student Michelle Hefner recently presented her groups' summer research project at the 4th annual ADAR Summit, hosted by the Cal-ADAR team at UC Berkeley.
  • The research PQAR students Jordan Harris, Michelle Hefner and Paula Lanternier conducted this summer was recently awarded at the 7th Annual NYU Langone Health Disparities Symposium! This summer they worked with Dr. Alexis Merdjanoff and PhD student Gabriella Meltzer on the topic of “Associations Between COVID‐19 Vaccine Hesitancy and Socio‐spatial Factors in NYC Transit Workers 50 Years and Older”.

The Pipelines into Quantitative Aging Research summer program will be offered in-person for summer 2022; however, we must remain flexible in our response to developments related to COVID-19. The health and safety of our students, faculty, and staff is our first priority. If we are unable to conduct the program on campus as planned, we will shift to remote instruction. Any changes to program format will be communicated promptly if and when they are confirmed.
